PRESS RELEASE - February 24, 2000
FAILED ASSISTED SUICIDE REVEALED
PCC previously mentioned a failed assisted-suicide attempt in Oregon
would soon be revealed. The details and documentation are now available
(http://www.brainstormnw.com).
The tragic case involves a man whose assisted-suicide attempt was
failing so miserably that his wife called 911. This seriously ill
man's physical symptoms became so distressing to his wife after he
took the overdose of drugs that she called 911 for help. There was
no doctor present. When the EMT's arrived, the man was transported
to a local Portland hospital and revived.
The Oregon Health Division report failed to give the whole picture.
