This seriously ill man's physical symptoms became so distressing to his wife after he took the overdose of drugs that she called 911 for help. There was no doctor present. When the EMT's arrived, the man was transported to a local Portland hospital and revived. The Oregon Health Division report failed to give the whole picture.
